Senior Project Manager - Consumer Health Manufacturing (10-15 yrs)
Lead and oversee the delivery of capital projects within a food / consumer health manufacturing environment, Chicken processing or Meat Industry, cold chain.
Minimum 8+ years' experience in project management (Green Field & Brown Field).
- Candidates with a solid background in cold chain supply system / storage (Refrigeration system) or related fields.
- This role requires expertise in full lifecycle project management, cost control, scheduling and Construction safety.
Primary responsibilities:
- Project Delivery: Manage and deliver capital projects safely, on budget, and according to schedule.
- Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, execute them, and track progress through all design phases from inception to handover.
- Quality and Standards: Ensure all key deliverables meet agreed timelines and adhere to quality and engineering standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Propose and effectively communicate options and updates to management and stakeholders.
- Objective Setting : Establish and align project objectives with requirements, ensuring that goals and timelines are achieved.
- Strategic Planning : Develop and implement robust plans and strategies for effective project lifecycle management.
- Issue Management : Identify project issues, communicate them to the team, and coordinate with the right skill sets to find timely and budget-conscious solutions.
- Team Leadership : Provide direction and vision to the project team, ensuring appropriate resource allocation and skillset application.
- Communication : Foster effective communication between the project team and stakeholders.
- Reporting : Report on project status, including schedule and cost issues, in accordance with established communication protocols.
- Compliance : Monitor and ensure adherence to applicable practices, policies, and specifications.
- Quality Control : Perform overall quality control of work, including budget, schedule, plans, and team performance.
