Senior Project Manager Req. for (highway & Road Const. Project)

Key Responsibilities :

- Involve in technical specifications of construction of highway and bridges execution at project site.

- Interface with the Concessionaire for schedule programming of works and timely completion based on the master construction program

- Deal with the Consultants on day today basis for approval of drawings, sources etc.

- Instrumental in looking into the mobilization of Plant & Machinery from other sites, procurement of additional, new plant & machinery.

- Handle the procurement of land for erection of plant, landscaping, erection of plants and interacting with different suppliers for commissioning of the same.

- He will be Involved in site management, deployment of manpower, P&M etc.

- To be involved in progress claims, variation orders etc.

- To be involved in finalization of subcontractor, rates, work orders etc.

- Ensure the reconciliation of Diesel/Bitumen on monthly basis etc.

- Responsible for execution, monitoring, preparation of review and statistical data to ensure timely completion of the Project.

- Implement the Tender, BOQ, Drawings, Work order, contract agreement and all connected documents to understand the scope of work clearly.

- To act on the tender documents, drawings, the schedules for all the working of site and other necessary materials required at the site office.

- Install cost control and monitoring procedure. Working out initial costing of the project in liaison with the Head Office for arriving at actual quantities of material, labour and other elements for cost control.

- Provide proper guidance to QS for timely submission of technical proposals to consultants/clients and subsequent follow-up with Engineer/Client for obtaining the approval timely.

- Follow-up for timely submission of source/material, drawings approval to the consultants/clients & maintaining records of same including securing of approvals.

- Support to internal audit team and site audits and take corrective action as may be required.

- Take care of maintenance works during defect liability period & follow up.

- Appraise the Project In-charge on Legal matters pertaining to the site and co-ordination with HO.

- Assist the site In-charge in performance review & appraisal of all personnel working under the project

- Mobilize and ensure the erection of crusher Plants.

- Liaison with government department officials and deal with the local residents/government official in removing the hindrances/encumbrance etc. at the site.

- Adhere all safety measures in accordance with the contract agreement.

- Reduce the environmental factors contributed due to execution of the work.

Note : He must be capable enough to prepare Construction Methodologies, Budgeting, Planning and Controlling.
