Senior Project Manager - HVAC (12-15 yrs)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop methods and frequency for site reviews / virtual visits through VC etc.
- Attend inter dept review and target meetings with Planning, Export, Sales team for JTS handover
- Scheduling of all the resources available for all the activities of all the projects on board
- Maintain log of all reports from SPM/PM/PE/SE. Prepare methodology & formats for various reports as per proceedings.
- Check & Maintain log of client meetings MOM. Frequency of the client meeting for each project should be established with HOD/SPM/PM w.r.to size and schedule of the project.
- Establish client interface directly by telephonic communications on regular intervals in terms of project progress, site challenges, commercial clearances etc.
- Plan site visits if required or VC across sites on critical milestones with HOD/SPM/PM.
- Develop and monitor critical path of the project. (CPM clusters can be established on bar chart while review to create pin-pointed check points)
- Understand & approve project wise cash flow made by HOD/SPM.
- Update Management with overall cash flow related to projects for material purchase, labor expenses & fixed site expenses.
- Manage vendors and client as per financial strategies made with Management w.r.to individual project cash flow and overall fund allocation.
- As per dispatch schedules decided for all the projects. Plan for production side of the same with all 4M aspects of factory.
- Study and develop possibilities for adding new products to production kitty.
- Try and implement new improved production technologies / RM alternatives / operations methodology (Kaizen/JIT/SCM) with techno-commercial evaluations.
- Develop & maintain strict quality management methods (TQM)
- As per available resources and work load, commit target dates for all on board projects
- Check & update all the proceedings with SPM/PM
- Checking and evaluating new labor contractors
- Check and approve all the working done by Purchase team
- Study and apply all applicable regulatory rules and standards during Procurement
- Commercial checks during Purchase
- Evaluate new developments on Purchase dept front
- Prepare with Project reconciliation for supply (procurement) part
- Update with action plan for all the proceedings with commercial / budget (reconciliation) review of the project. Frequency of updates can be discussed and decided with HOD w.r.to size and duration of project cycle
- Payment collection checks during supply & execution as per terms
- Evaluate commercial risks and develop strategies to deal with confirmation from Directors
- Provide updates to Directors through MIS
- Project progress work monitoring related to
- Indents execution
- Procurement
- Labor planning
- Dispatch schedules
- Project & Expenses cash flow
- Project reconciliation check
