1. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF JOB :

Senior Project Manager is responsible for:

a) Issue, Update and maintain Project Procedures Manual and Project Execution Plan

b) Incorporate Project Controls and Quality Plan into PEP

c) Designated channel for all communications

d) Provide leadership to the project team and Maintain client / project team alignment

e) Execute project scope according to PEP

f) Timely completion of designs, requisitions and engineering deliverables.

g) Adherence to Dept./Discipline Working Instructions and Quality Systems.

h) Overview of work progress and work-hour usage.

i) Working within company budgets

j) Meet client expectations and maintain long-term relationship with client. Attend to client's feedback and any complaints

2. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS :

A degree in any engineering discipline preferably Process/ Mechanical Engineering Discipline with 15 to 20 years of experience in Design Engineering

3. MEASUREMENT AND PERFORMANCE :

- Through regular contact with disciplines and by regular review of the project status reports, ensure upto-date and reliable statistical information on project performance.

- Improve the productivity by means of reduction of rework and errors.

- Issue Progress Reports & Operational Review Report weekly./ fortnightly and monthly as agreed with client highlighting all issues /concerns with their mitigation plan

4. RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Review technical requirements of client's specifications and ensure that agreement is reached on the

- Basis of design. Participate in discussions with the client, as necessary.

- Investigate, analyze and implement systems, and methods to improve efficiency and accuracy

a) Issue a Change Management Procedure tailored to size and complexity of Project

b) Ensure project deliverables meet quality and schedule

c) Conduct Project Coordination Meetings

d) Keep management informed of new or emerging risks

e) Project cash flow management

f) Supports and participates in Client Survey

g) Supports Project Quality Audits

h) Ensures timely completion of preventive and corrective actions in Performance Improvement Notes

i) Issue close out reports for project. Maintain contact with other disciplines/groups to ensure:

a) Lead Engineer and designer are aware of problems of progress delays.

b) Proper interchange of information.

c) Proper interchange of documents

d) Interface is correctly defined.

- Ensure that site problems viz. Technical Queries and Non-conformity Notices are dealt with effectively and expeditiously and also ensure competent staffs are available for site trouble shooting as necessary.

- Attend Design Engineering Management Review Meetings.

- Furnish administrative and technical directives to discipline personnel.
