Senior Quantity Surveyor (10-12 yrs)

COST ESTIMATION

1. Prepare accurate & detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including material, labour, equipment & other related expenses.

2. Analyse project drawings, specifications & other documents to determine project scope and requirement.

3. Collaborate with engineers, architects & other stake holders to determined accurate project cost.

BUDGET MANAGEMENT

1. Develop and manage project budgets to ensure that costs are within the allocated budget.

2. Monitor project expenditure & cost variation.

PROCUREMENT

1. Assist in procurement activities by preparing Bill of Quantities (Bo Q).

2. Evaluate supplier & contractor bids, ensuring competitiveness & compliance with project requirement.

CONTRACT MANAGEMENT

1. Preparation of contracts for construction projects.

2.Review and assess contract terms & conditions, ensuring they are favourable & aligned with the project objectives.

3. Monitor contractor performance, variations & change orders & ensure contract compliance.

VALUE ENGINEERING

1. Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising project quality and scope.

RISK MANAGEMENT

1. Identify and assess potential risks that could impact project costs and timelines.

2. Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure they are incorporated into the project plans.

PROJECT MONITORING AND REPORTING

1. Track project progress and compare it against established budgets and schedules.

MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT CERTIFICATION

1. Verify and certify quantities of work completed by contractors for payment purposes.

2. Ensure accurate measurement of completed work.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

1. Assist in resolving disputes that may arise between contractor, suppliers and project owners.

CONTINOUS IMPROVEMENT

1. Stay updated with industry trends, construction methodologies and cost management tools to enhance professional skills

COMMUNICATION

1. Maintain effective communication with project teams, stakeholders & contractors to ensure project operations.
