Senior R&D Steel Professional (15-30 yrs)

The vision in R&D is to develop products which answer the customer needs of today and tomorrow.
The R&D has full facility labs and scientists and some with doctoral qualifications who work on projects which define the organization's need to cater to customers.
The role in different levels in the organisation shall encompass the following:
- Work on projects which are culled out of customer needs.
- Get patents on the work which has been entrusted.
- Represent the organisation in national/international in Steel on developments in products.
- Prepare/support the ongoing R&D initiatives at par with the best in class in the world.
- Undertake pilot projects in the plant and institutions with an aim to develop new insights about our produts.
- Invite global experts in steel who can impact our ongoing journey of R&D and product supremacy.
- Develop a cadre of young R&D professionals who can work as team members in different projects,write papers.
- Inculcate commercial aspect approach in all the projects worked on by the R&D Team.
- Apply research theories, principles, and models when conducting experiments and research activities.
- Being a Research and Development scientist shall summarize research results and communicate findings to internal and external bodies
- Assesses the scope of research projects and ensures projects are on time and within budget.
- Research and Development scientist develops technical documentation for all projects.
Candidates who are postgraduates/doctorates preferably in Metallurgy and have worked in Stainless Steel category would ideally fit the profile.
