- Ensures completion of Statutory requirements

- Environment, Health & Safety, Management System at Lead Country (LC) India Level including Factory, Offices & Project Sites.

- Showing good leadership qualities as LC

- Operative Implementation of Safety & Environment Management System across the BU.

- Ensure Implementation of EHS guidelines & EHS Targets.

- Interface between Division EHS Officer and Project Management/ Manufacturing locations.

- Ensure that periodic EHS Committee Meetings are held across Factories, Project Sites and Office Locations and escalate issues which are high risk in nature.

- Ensure timely Submission of inputs for monthly BRM and KPI's of EHS Dashboard for all factories, Project Sites & Offices.

- Ensure that Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment is customized to the current activities and are periodically.

- Updated and monitor adequacy of Control measures.

- Ensure periodic EHS Inspections for capturing Unsafe Act/ Conditions and track the corrective actions.

- Conduct periodic EHS Compliance Audits and monitor progress of implementation of corrective actions.

- Conduct need based EHS Trainings programmes.

- Periodically monitor compliance of all the EHS Legal requirements under e.g. BOCW, Factories Act/ Rules etc.

- Incident investigation and root cause analysis recommend corrective & preventive action and ensure implementation.

- Co-ordinate specific tasks such as Radiation safety, fire safety, dangerous goods transport, etc. allocated to the BU.

- Ensure periodic renewal of Consents & Hazardous Waste Authorizations & Bio Medical Waste Authorization and subsequent monthly/

- Annual filing of returns for Water Cess, Hazardous Waste & Bio Medical Waste.

- Assist in promotional activities during EHS Workshops, National Safety Day, World Environment day, Road Safety Week etc.

- Input for Quarterly & Annual Reporting through Company's Environmental and Technical Safety Information System for Environment,

- HS reporting & Fire Protection for all Factories & Project Sites.

- Ensure timely reporting of all types of incidents, dangerous occurrences and near misses and monitor corrective & preventive actions
