Client is having India R&D and Sales office for APAC in Pune.

Qualification : ME/MTech from reputed institutes in electrical/electronics/instrumentation with specific courses targeted at Power Electronics, measurement, analog and digital circuit design, electrical engineering, magnetic circuits.

Required Skill Set :

- Will be required to use a variety of CAD tools including analog and mixed simulators (PSPICE), Freecad, Autocad, PCB schematic and layout tools, Microcontroller programming,

- Some work with PC based tools such as MAXWELL, Matlab, VB is a plus 

- Knowledge of automotive systems and specifications is desired.

Job Description/Responsibilities :

Your key responsibilities will be :

- Managing and mentoring a team of engineers dedicated to Automotive sensor and power IC applications.

- Testing and evaluating our Power and sensor ICs for automotive and industrial products.

- Providing new solutions to meet customer specifications.

- Effectively communicating with customers and internal Allegro teams

- Recognizing new product opportunities while working collaboratively with our product development teams to bring products to market.

- Developing relationships at current and prospective customers that support the business development efforts in India.

- The candidate will work with industry leading customers and a well experienced design team to evaluate and support our sensor ICs in Indian market. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast paced IC development environment and combination of analytical and hands-on real life problem solving challenges (silicon evaluation, evaluation board and collateral development, critical customer support).

- Experience as electrical/electronics design engineer or application engineer in automotive domain. Experience with automotive electronics will be preferred. Candidate will be exposed to latest technology in semiconductors. Candidate should be fast learner to adjust with wide scope of technology and applications.

- Excellent understanding of Power Electronics, magnetic circuits, analog circuit design, good analytical and measurement skills are essential. This job will involve travel to customers within India.

- Experience as electrical/electronics design engineer or application engineer in automotive domain. Experience with automotive electronics will be preferred. Candidate will be exposed to latest technology in semiconductors. Candidate should be fast learner to adjust with wide scope of technology and applications.

TEAMWORK : Will have to manage a team of engineers working in the field of Power electronics (DC-DC converter, motor drivers, LED drivers) and hall based magnetic sensors. Candidate will be part of a product development team that may include other design engineers, product / test engineers, and marketing / applications engineers and will perform design related tasks. Will be expected to be a contributor to the entire product development and promotion process.

COMMUNICATION : Will interact on routine issues with marketing, product, systems, design and customer using verbal and written skills. A good communication is a must.
