Role : To deliver defined new products through formulation & analytical development processes, and in-line with US-FDA,MHRA quality standards, within budget & timeline.

Responsibilities :

- To ensure completion of development studies in-line with regulatory compliances within budget and in defined time period.

- To hold specific product development review meeting and verify quality development process of formulation development and analytical development

- To ensure that all lab equipment are maintained well with incorporation of modern technology and software for lab operations

- To follow Q10 and any other recent USFDA/EMA guidelines that come to manage the lifecycle of the product

- To ensure that the above is achieved as per the 5-year strategic business plan and deliver each year's targets sustainable

- To put review, control systems and processes as per USFDA and world class best practices for efficient outputs and robust management

- To hold daily internal meeting within designated function and provide guidance for effective and efficient regular operations

- To hold weekly meeting management highlighting the actions, gaps and risk factors for the departmental targets and prepare monthly departmental report with team

- To impart training to various functional teams, in line with current regulatory requirement of various countries at regular intervals

- To build a strong management team with technical layers ensuring their recruitment, training and organisation structure is able to achieve the 5-year business plan targets

Desired Skills & Experience :

Experience : 20+ years of experience in looking after research and development (R&D), in Pharmaceutical industry, preferably of injectable products

Functional Expertise :

Should have :

- Exposure of handling large teams and holding middle or senior level role

- Demonstrated expertise in product development

Educations Qualification : M. Pharma/B. Pharma/M. Sc./ B. Sc.

Personal attributes :

- Should have leadership abilities with excellent team management skills

- Should be articulate and have attention to detail

- Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Should be able to work with cross functional teams on simultaneous projects and providing support to internal stakeholders. preferably of injectable products.
