Seniority - Operations Head (6-10 yrs)
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for order management & fulfillment, execution, procurement, people management, 3PL partners, Payments, inventory and delivery functions.
- Evaluate and implement (through engineering team) various technological solutions to enhance customer experience, increase operation efficiency.
- Plan, monitor and control inventory transactions, Cycle time, Cost, Non-live inventory, Inventory spoilage, Re-work, Scrap etc. Trouble shoot inventory transition variances, develop RCA & develop better internal control each and every process.
- Inventory valuation using FIFO, NRV etc. Inventory reporting, Design provision policies, Monitoring various provision and align category and warehouse operation to reduce the provision hits.
- Ensure customer orders are fulfilled, purchased Returns are processed without any delay.
- Monitor TAT for each and every inventory movements at Inventory & catalog warehouses work with operation team to reduce over TAT transaction, Improve TAT by removing unnecessary activity etc.
- Work with category operation, ensure Purchase orders are planned and delivered on time.
- Manage internal /External inventory audit at all Warehouses and Fulfillment centers.
- Drive very high fulfillment and cancellation reduction of placed orders and avoid out-of-stock issues.
- Design, Maintain and update SOPs for all inventory operation related processes.
- Manage a large team of last mile delivery including multiple 3PL Partners and Delivery boys
- Monitor the customer Return flow and Re-Stocking of merchandise without any delay.
- Setting KPI for inventory control team, Monitor & provide regular feedback for hit, misses
- Generating excel Report and Analysis.
Key skills: - Inward-outward management, Warehouse management, Inventory Management.
Job Requirements :
1. 5-10 years of work experience in driving operations with startups.
2. Education from premium college with strong work-ex post education.
3. Experience of working in similar operating roles at other start-ups
4. Very strong people management and team leadership skills
5. Strong interpersonal, time management and execution-focus skills
6. Should have experience leading a team of 40- 50 blue and white collared employees
7. E-commerce experience is must.
