Service Engineer - Textile Technology (2-5 yrs)

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

1. Responsible for providing technical services to the clients and ensuring that their queries and requests are managed with satisfaction

- Responsible for understanding the client processes (mainly spinning) for providing any of the technical services

- Responsible for commissioning and installation of the machines :

- Check the floor and area (if as recommended by Murata in the Machine Layout)

- Check the levelling of the machine, the commissioning settings and start the machine

- Prepare the reports in the standardized format

- Issue an installation and commissioning certificate in the prescribed format to customer

- Responsible for providing service during the warranty period

- Responsible for inspection of the machine under the warranty which is generally done after 3-4 months of commissioning the machine

- Responsible for after sales service (this is after the warranty period expires and it is based on new terms and conditions)

- Responsible for convincing the client to sign an AMC once the machine is old

- Responsible for dismantling the major parts and recommending the purchase of defective/damaged parts

- Responsible for training the maintenance team if replacement is required

- Responsible for training and guiding the customers team in order to maintain the machines better

- Responsible for collecting the charges

2. Ensure customer satisfaction

- Responsible for ensuring that the customer complaints are solved and the customer is satisfied

- Ensure that existing clients are retained and there is no loss in present clientele

- Responsible for building the client relationship Responsible for collecting customer feedback in the prescribed format

3. Responsible for providing the reports to the reporting manager as required

- Accountable for providing the reports required by the reporting manager in time

- Responsible for the quality of the report i.e. language, specific bullet points, pictures relevant data used

- Ensure that all information from the client is communicated upwards

- Responsible for supporting the sales team for any inputs required such as of presence of competition/new project information in the existing clientele
