Shift Incharge - Carbon Black (10-20 yrs)
Role : Shift Incharge - Carbon Black
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the operation and management of carbon black production shift.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a zero-accident culture.
- Lead and supervise a team of operators and technicians in shift operations.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure uninterrupted carbon black production.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any equipment malfunction or maintenance needs.
- Troubleshoot process issues and take corrective actions as needed.
- Monitor production targets and implement measures to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate shift reports and records of production, downtime, and quality checks.
- Provide timely feedback and performance evaluations to the team members.
- Train new employees and conduct regular training sessions for the existing workforce.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in carbon black production.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement operational strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize carbon black production processes.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to cross-functional projects.
Requirements :
- Minimum 10 years of experience in carbon black production.
- Strong knowledge of carbon black manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
- Sound understanding of safety regulations and process control.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make quick decisions in a dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Proven track record of meeting production targets and improving operational efficiency.
- Degree or diploma in chemical engineering or related field (preferred).
