Shiva Group - Manager - International Logistics (6-8 yrs)
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
- Experience in pricing strategies for sea export shipments
- Negotiating rates and booking spaces for goods on trains, ships and planes and planning the most suitable mode of transport and route
- Maintain and regularly update a pricing history database.
- Working out import and export duties and arranging payment for freight services and other charges working out the details of transport and insurance costs
- Preparing quotes, invoices and all necessary licences and paperwork
- Must have good exposure to negotiation with shipping lines and freight forwarder/CHA
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers
- Candidates with experience of working in SAP environment shall be preferred.
- Must have good exposure to negotiation with shipping lines and freight forwarder.
