Responsibilities :

1. Develop and validate models and Thermal & Flow simulations for electric propulsion systems, including electric motors, power electronics

2. Experience in Thermal management systems & simulation of e-Motor & Transmission systems

3. Conduct performance, efficiency, and reliability analysis of electric propulsion systems and components

4. Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure proper integration of the simulation models into the overall vehicle design

5. Use simulation tools such as GT-SUITE or ANSYS-FLUENT or STAR-CCM+, or similar to develop and validate models

6. Work with test engineers to identify and validate test methods to correlate simulation models with real-world behavior

7. Continuously improve the simulation models to reflect the latest product designs and advancements in technology

8. Develop and maintain technical specifications and documentation for the simulation models

9. Communicate simulation results and recommendations to other engineering teams and management

Skills :

1. Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including electric motors, power electronics and Thermal management.

2. Experience with simulation tools such as GT-SUITE, ANSYS-FLUENT, STAR-CCM+, or similar

3. Expertise in detailed modeling in 1D & 3D CFD softwares for e-Motor thermal analysis

4. Understanding of Thermal Management, Motor/Transmission Internal Cooling

5. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

6. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment

7. Experience with electric vehicle powertrain (Motor & Transmission) simulation

8. Understanding of regulatory requirements for electric propulsion systems

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

2. 3+ years of experience in developing models and simulations for electric propulsion systems
