Site Engineer for Commercial & Residential Projects" is responsible for overseeing the construction of both commercial buildings (like offices, stores) and residential units (apartments, houses) on a construction site, ensuring all work adheres to design plans, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines, while managing contractors and coordinating with other stakeholders to deliver the project within budget. Key Responsibilities:

Site Planning and Set-up:

- Conduct site surveys and level checks to establish construction boundaries and reference points.

- Lay out building grids and key reference points for construction crews.

- Coordinate with utility companies for service connections.

Construction Supervision:

- Monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with project drawings and specifications.

- Inspect materials and workmanship to maintain quality standards.

- Address and resolve any construction issues that arise on site.

Contractor Management:

- Manage and coordinate multiple subcontractors on site, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.

Issue work orders and monitor contractor performance against project schedules.

Quality Control:

Conduct regular quality inspections to identify and rectify any defects.

Implement quality control procedures to maintain project standards.

Safety Management:

- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and protocols on site.

- Conduct safety inspections and toolbox talks with construction crews.

- Investigate and report any safety incidents.

- Progress Monitoring and Reporting:

- Track project progress against the schedule and budget.

- Prepare regular progress reports for project management team.

- Identify potential delays and propose mitigation strategies.

Technical Expertise:

- Interpret and understand construction drawings and specifications for both commercial and residential buildings.

- Have a working knowledge of building codes and regulations.

- Troubleshoot technical issues that arise during construction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

- Proven experience as a site engineer on commercial and residential construction projects

- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and quality control procedures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders

- Proficient in construction software and project management tools

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From - 35,000.00 per month
