Smoodies - Founding team - Beverage startup

- Looking for a Founding team member for Smoodies, an early stage beverages startup in Bangalore. Founder is an MBA from IIM Calcutta and Economics graduate from London School of Economics, ex-investment banker and management consultant.

- We are building a vibrant, honest and happy brand of healthy beverages. We aim to provide a tasty, convenient and affordable way to access necessary nutrition in our otherwise extremely busy lives. Having done a soft launch with great consumer feedback, we are now looking at setting up a pilot facility to ease production on a larger scale and allow us to achieve wider distribution.

Job requirements :

- Looking for somebody who is passionate about building a business and developing a solid consumer brand. Food/Ops background is a massive plus, but passion and a willingness to learn is the key.

- Looking for someone with a solid mechanical engineering background, and at least 3-4 years of work experience in roles where you have demonstrated responsibility and independence in thought.

- We're sure to get along if you love food and drink and everything in between. It's also important to be engaged on current brands in the market and global trends in the space.

What we are looking for in the details is the ability to run (and run hard!) with :

- Planning and setting up a manufacturing facility (incl. vendor negotiations, plant blueprint, compliance with regulations, licensing, food safety etc)

- Setting supply chains for raw materials (fruits, packaging etc)

- Distribution logistics

- Daily operations (production planning, sourcing, cost efficiencies, production efficiencies)

- Thought partner with the Founder on branding, costing, business development, fund-raising, product development and everything else that comes with startups
