Society Tea - Engineering Manager - Plant Maintenance (8-13 yrs)
We are looking for an Engineering Manager who will be responsible for overall maintenance of tea blending and packing unit deploying state of the art technology. The location is Sanjan in Gujarat near Vapi and Silvasa, This is a green field project and preferred candidate shall have hands on experience in maintenance of packing machines, utility, automation and electrical maintenance. Experience in large scale project planning and execution will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities :
- Improve plant OEE.
- Implement measures to manage maintenance budget and reduce energy cost.
- Implement SHE systems and practices.
- Manage operation of engineering stores.
- Interact with OEMs and other vendors for equipment spares and AMCs
- Design and implement maintenance plan for all critical equipment.
- Understand and ensure applicable statutory compliances for the dept.
- Devise data management system for monitoring department KPIs and periodic review to achieve them.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals for CAPEX.
Skills :
- Thorough understanding on the range of engineering functions.
- Update with emerging technologies and practices.
- Ability to lead and motivate team members to achieve department KPIs to drive culture of continuous improvement.
- Ability to work in a team and co-ordinate with stake holders for execution of project/ major maintenance activity.
- Ability to analyze data and good diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
