Job Summary:

As a Solar Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of solar energy projects from conception to completion. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Management:

- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations for solar photovoltaic (PV) system installations.

- Managethe end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring milestones and objectives are met.

- Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure smooth project execution.

2. TeamCollaboration and Leadership:

- Leadandmentor project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.

- Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.

- Oversee day-to-day project activities, providing guidance and support to ensure alignment with project goals.

3. Budget and Resource Management:

- Monitor project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met and costs are controlled.

- Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely delivery and project success.

- Prepare project progress reports and financial updates for senior management.

4. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

- Ensure that all solar projects comply with industry standards, local regulations, and safety protocols.

- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and quality of installation.

- Implement risk management strategies to address potential project challenges and delays.

5. Client Interaction and Reporting:

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status.

- Prepare and present project reports, timelines, and completion forecasts to stakeholders.

- Address client feedback, making necessary adjustments to meet project requirements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.

- Minimumof 5years of experience in project management, with a focus on solar energy or renewable projects.

- Strong understanding of solar PV system design, installation, and regulatory requirements.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines in large-scale projects.

Preferred Skills:

- Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).

- Experience with project management tools like MS Project, Primavera, or similar.

- Familiarity with solar design and simulation software (e.g., AutoCAD, PV syst).
