Regular: Close coordination with Vision test system suppliers and production plants

Troubleshooting support for International production network(IPN) for optical inspection systems with systematic problem solving and implementation of lessons learned cases in IPN

Key Performance Indicator(KPI) Tracking - Fall Of Rate(FOR) and Internal defect cost(IDC) of optical inspection systems

Periodic: Vision Test programs generation/optimization for existing and newly launched products.

- Pre-Acceptance /Final acceptance of new vision test systems

- Basic operation of work stations(PLC system), printers

- Process Setup and Continuous Process Improvements

- Documents( Production/Inspection instruction) preparation as per plant setup

Occasional: Supplier visits/selection to keep up to date as per new test technology(Willingness to travel)

- Organizational standards-(5S, HSE, Quality systems, ESD, Standardization-Documentation) implementation

Key deliverables :

- Process KPI(FOR and IDC) under control

- False call reduction/First Pass Yield(FPY) improvement

- Machine Utilization Improvement

- Process Standardization

- Customer satisfaction

Qualifications

- Experience 6+ Years Optical Test Engineering experience from Electronics Manufacturing Industry . Preferable from Automotive Electronics Industry

- Education : BE/B.Tech - Mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering, physics or a comparable course of study, preferably with a focus in manufacturing

Additional Information

- Technical Basic understanding on electronic products manufacturing in automotive sector

- Process Know how of optical inspection systems

- Ideally experienced in the field of industrial image processing

- Good understanding of data sources, processing and evaluation of data and willingness to undergo further training

- Basic knowledge on tracebility systems(MES) and manufacturing line servers

- Basic knowledge on customer labels and label printers

- Knowledge on PLC

- Proficiency in German language or willingness to learn

- Keeps abreast of industry trends and is aware of market dynamics

- Convincingly presents own ideas and concepts to different target audiences
