Specialist - Power Electronics (5-10 yrs)
Position:
Specialist Power Electronics
- Candidate with 5+ years of experience in
- Product specification verification, Analyze, Topology selection, Simulate, Schematic design, Prototyping, module testing, WCA, DFMEA, document making
Role essentials:
- Performs design, simulation and implementation of power electronic converters Inverters, DCDC converters Optimization studies of different converter topologies with respect to losses, device sizing and selection
- Design, selection, specification, and validation of critical power components e g IGBTs, MOSFET- s, Diodes, capacitors, inductor etc
- Analyses failures seen on the product and find root cause and implement improvements. The failures can come from market or production
- Design of analog and digital electronics including micro processors/controllers, gate drivers, sensor interfaces and SMPS for power conversion and protection. Designing, developing and testing power electronic products
- Should be able to work on digital Communication protocols like CAN, RS 232 SPI, I 2 C etc. Should handle hardware system design including end to end product
- Collaborate with mechanical, layout, and firmware engineers to successfully develop and validate the designs up to and including certification and product launch Utilizes the support of model based development processes, testing, verification validation tools
- Work with supply chain teams and qualify components and assemblies during implementations and resolve issues as needed to maintain product and project quality, cost and deliverables
