Specification Manager - Electrical (8-14 yrs)
Qualification: Any Engineering graduate/ MBA or equivalent Degree
Preferred Industry: Electrical (Wire, switches, Switchgears & P-Lum)
Key Relationship with: Government bodies, Contractor, Engineers, Electrical consultants, Real Estate developers & Architects
Location: Chembur (Mumbai - Central line)
JOB ROLE:
- To identify, develop and manage key specifiers (including private, governmental, Builder, Contractor, consultant, municipal, health, hospitality and industrial, etc.) as suitable and to provide support to the sales department for on-going projects when required.
- To meet and generate demand of the products through Government bodies, Engineers, Electrical consultants, Real Estate developers, Architects, and others in value chain of business.
- To introduce the company's LDC innovative products to consultant, engineers, government department, architects and Builders & get it approved with specifier on all parameters.
- Jobholder to present technical presentations, seminars and product demonstrations to specifier along with overall work activities.
- To initiate and develop strong relationships with all specifiers addressed by the jobholder and identify the new projects and leads to build sales pipeline.
- Develop long term healthy business relationship with customers.
- Preparing quotation on technical specifications & requirement of Projects & Tenders on parameters given.
- To produce, product proposal in a timely, in professional manner, with required specification clauses and technical documents.
- To create standard specification clauses and details and also technical literature that promote the specification and sales of the company's LDC products.
- To organize and attend technical seminars, exhibitions as well as social and entertainment functions with a view to developing business relationship. All such events to be pre-approved by the jobholder's line manager.
- To coordinate with the marketing team for all market related activities related to project business in the area.
KEY COMPETENCY:
- To prepare list of Department / Agencies/ Private entities for approval
- Setting specific stage & timeline required for approvals
- Prioritizing approvals on the basis of criticality of project / tender
- Identifying & Mapping business potential of the project / tender
- Monthly review & updation of approval stage & approval done
- Presenting Technical & specification to the Specifiers & Approving product on all parameters
- Meeting and generate demand of the products through specifiers
