Security & Surveillance System - Electronics / Telecommunication Engineer

Job Duties:

- Electronics / Telecommunication Engineer having 3-5 years experience in area of Security & Surveillance System with engineering / commissioning background

- Knowledge of fibre optic cable including splicing and conformity testing when required

- Engineers who can install, optimise and calibrate the Distributed Acoustic Sensing system for use multiple industries including the Gas & Oil industry, Security, Rail Industry and Smart Cities

- Knowledge of CCTV system and integration with DAS

- Responsible for the planning and manning of projects coordination of the Field Engineers

- To Work as a part of the Service Support team who provide after care support to customers pre and post installation, including troubleshooting, fault finding and fine tuning as required

- To Supervise Cabinet build, installation of all equipment into the LivePIPE Racks ready for Factory Acceptance Testing, followed by conducting FAT with customer

- Preparing and delivering product training materials, technical presentations and demonstrations

- To Liaise with the Sales and Marketing team with technical reviews of project proposals and tender qualification documents.

- Supporting the development of sales offerings and repeatable use cases that meet the needs of our customers

- To conduct site surveys to ensure the proposed application is suitable for the local environment, this includes the installation method of the optical cable and its depth along with terrain and soil conditions, building infrastructure, network capability, power supply and identification of possible installation complications before they arise.

Requirements

- Having knowledge & prior experience in a technical field (CCTV installation, Fire and gas Detectors) would be advantageous.

- Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

- Good observation skills and a willingness to learn.

- Analytical and critical thinking skills.

- Should be able to work independently and taking responsibilities

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

- Able to start work immediately.

- Able to commit long term.
