About Our Client :

- Our client provides services in engineering and design, product lifecycle management, manufacturing, product development, and IT service management to automotive and aerospace original equipment manufacturers and their suppliers.

The candidate will be generating fresh Colour and Trim solutions based on the Design direction and Program brief for the exterior / Interior design, ensuring that the design intent is represented correctly in terms of colour and Trim with Newer Colours, Materials and Finishing Processes.

The candidate will need to be conversant with Autodesk Alias workflows and will require to have keen eye for Automotive Colours and Materials.

The candidate should have good knowledge of manufacturing processes like molding and forming in order to create good Colour and Trim design data.

Job Responsibility:

- To work seamlessly with the design project team on a range of interior and exterior design programs

- To develop C and T solutions with appropriate translation from initial C & T themes

- Development of Exterior and Interior Body and Trim colors, Finishes and Upholstery for a program

- High sensitivity towards colors, fabrics, textures and patterns

- Good 3D visualization and awareness

- Appropriate application of materials and textures to various Ext and Int components

- Proficiency in relevant benchmarking

- Proficiency in Aesthetic judgement and understanding of manufacturing processes

- Understanding of trends in Exterior and Interior Paints, Textures and Finishes

- Interact with the feasibility engineers and negotiate to protect the design intent.

Mandatory skills:

- Knowledge and experience in Automotive Color, Material and Finishing processes

- Sound Knowledge about Adobe Photoshop, Visualization Tools like V-Red, Alias Auto studio

- Knowledge of the C and T Bucks and proficiency in guiding the team to get the right intended C and T Bucks for the projects

- Ability to correctly represent the shortlisted C and t themes into 3D Bucks.

- Awareness for the trends towards Colour, textures and Materials

- Competency in Trend tacking from other design professions

- Proficiency in understanding Program timelines and Cost.

- Knowledge of 2D surface and pattern design

- Crisp communication and Effective storytelling

- Time Management and Discipline; Knowledge of Overall IT Literacy
