Our client is a large Engineering Services Outsourcing and Product Development IT services company offering services in engineering and design, product lifecycle management, manufacturing, product development, and IT service management to automotive and aerospace original equipment manufacturers and their suppliers
Job Description:
1. Creation of digital (surface) data for scale and full-size exterior & interior automotive models in ALIAS software. Data quality expected from work-in-progress/iterative all the way production-ready #Class-A#. (Exposure to automotive clay modelling will be seen as a positive).
2. Exceptional ability to translate sketch and clay/scan data into refined Alias models.
3. Should have worked in an automotive OEM and have a reasonable number of vehicles on-road over the said years of experience.
4. Create multi-media visual presentations, with high impact renderings using tools such as VRED, Alias.
5. Will need to work as a highly effective part of a cross functional team comprising digital modellers, creative designers, engineers and suppliers. To this end, the candidate will need to have a problem-solving bent of mind.
6. Keeps abreast of current product developments and trends in area of expertise and actively identifies new areas for learning and takes advantage of learning opportunities
7. Must exhibit skills to lead the digital modelling team and mentor/guide fresh recruits.Ability to work under tight timelines and handle multiple assignments
8. Developing, updating, and evolving a robust digital design process including establishing and evolving best practices, standards etc.
Desired Profile
6-12 years of overall experience in the area of Automotive design, working on Alias software
Experience working for an Automotive OEM
