Sri Sumeru Realty - Quality Manager - Construction Engineering (10-16 yrs)
JOB PURPOSE : To develop, launch and implement company wide business improvement practices and processes.
JOB SUMMARY :
Review the Material Technical Data Sheet, Preparation of Method StatemenT,Submit Inspection Request for Engineers Inspection,Issue Internal NCR or Site Observation,Conduct regular Site Surveillance, Prepare QA/QC Reports, Quality Audits.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Provides technical expertise, training, facilitation and tools to promote continuous improvement efforts across all departments as well as with customers and trade partners/suppliers.
2. Supports departments and trade partners/suppliers with the application and implementation for continuous improvement. This includes promoting, training, coaching and assisting in the implementation. (Training includes all quality related topics such as tools, techniques and best practices.)
3. Develops individuals and teams within the company and within Trade Partner groups to create sustainable knowledge and skills for Quality Management implementation through coaching and mentoring. The aim being to allow the delegation of tasks or projects.

C. Empower individuals and teams to drive Quality Management activities
D. Manage by identifying Opportunities for Improvement and implementing continuous improvement actions/teams/processes to address and impact these.
E. Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration.
F. Reviewing customer requirements and making sure they are met
G. Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers
H. Setting standards for quality as well as health and safety
I. Looking at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency
J. Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff
K. Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data
L. Making suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them;
M. Using relevant quality tools and making sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the business;
N. Making sure the company is working as effectively as possible to keep up with competitors.
O. Control and the distribution of all the companies quality documentation
P. Monitor all quality related activities
Q. Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the companies management
R. Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals.
S. Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements
T. Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required.
U. Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the site managers
V. Coordinate all quality related correspondence with the customers representatives.
W. Action and close all customer complaints
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
This position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, 10+ years experience in quality domain.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
The physical demands associated with the duties and responsibilities described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform this job. This includes ability to spend extended hours walking construction sites and traveling to different project sites and offices.
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
The work environment described herein is representative of those an employee encounters while performing this job. QA/QC Manager will work at various project site.
