Sterlite Power - Document Controller (4-5 yrs)
Document Management:
- Organize and maintain the document management system for the transmission line project.
- Ensure all documents (drawings, contracts, specifications, correspondence, etc.) are filed appropriately, easily accessible, and comply with project requirements.
- Maintain version control to ensure that the latest version of documents is used at all times.
Document Distribution:
- Coordinate the distribution of project-related documents to stakeholders, including engineering teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of documents to all relevant parties as per project timelines.
- Prepare and distribute transmittals and acknowledgements for all outgoing and incoming documents.
Document Tracking & Reporting:
- Track the status of all documents (received, under review, approved, etc.) and update the project management system accordingly.
- Generate and maintain reports on the status of document review and approval processes.
- Follow up on any delayed or missing documents to ensure project schedules are maintained.
Compliance & Quality Control:
- Ensure all project documentation complies with applicable standards, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Maintain a high standard of accuracy in all documentation and address any discrepancies or errors promptly.
Coordination with Internal Teams:
- Act as the point of contact for all document-related inquiries within the project team.
- Support internal project teams by providing requested documents or information in a timely manner.
Archiving and Retention:
- Archive and store all project documents at the completion of the project in accordance with the company's document retention policy.
- Ensure that all project documents are accessible for future reference or audits.
- Should be aware of RoW(Right of Way) guidelines & should be from transmission line industry.
