Store Keeper (Machine Spare Parts Store)

Location: Central Africa

Education: ITI/Diploma in mechanical engineering

Work experience: Minimum 5 year experience in the relevant field. Abroad experience added advantage

Age: 25- 35 Years

Language: English & Hindi (Swahili/French speakers added advantage)

Computer Knowledge: Mandatory (ERP software knowledge added advantage)

Work shift: Day/Night 12 Hour duty

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Control incoming spares, equipment and tools by checking brand, quality, model and quantity against the actual order.

- Receive products as per the check list and standards and inform his supervisor whenever the is defects.

- Receive and properly stock any purchased and supplied items in a way that suits proper material management.

- Maintain records of all incoming and outgoing deliveries of requested materials.

- Receive and store documents; maintains record of approved basic store documents.

- Maintain the stores area in a neat and orderly manner.

- Organize the warehouse, workplace, and documentation, according to the 5S standards.

- Update the stock records timely in Odoo software, and prepare issue vouchers & submit timely to finance department.

- Ensure that storage areas, facilities and equipment meet the minimum requirements and standards.

- Ensure the accuracy of data inputs while using computer software for stores management.

- Ensure all store transactions are carried out in compliance with the store and fixed assets guidelines of the company.

- Ensure proper usage and maintenance of all equipment in stores.

- Distribute timely completed regular store vouchers and properly maintain completed pads of GRN and Issue vouchers.

- Initiate purchase when materials reach reorder level.

- Mitigate all potential risk areas inside and around store areas and apply necessary preventive measures.

- Manage the truck loading program of F/G in night while your shift is in night

- Any Other additional responsibilities given by management
