Position Description :

The position is a corporate role, responsible for taking care of job work/subcontract management for the group. This role will be highly technical role in understanding the outsourcing requirements such as machining, surface coating, heat treatment etc of each unit and building a complete supply chain which is cost effective, agile and sustainable.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate with multiple manufacturing units for understanding the outsourcing/subcontract requirements and building an efficient supply chain for the same.

- Should be expert in manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, fabrication etc.

- Coordinate with units SCM representatives for supply chain issues related to JW suppliers.

- Settling of JW rates as per standard practice and reduce the JW cost year over year

- Pull out various reports from ERP for procurement data analysis

- Various data analysis using EXCEL pertaining to procurement history and price history

- Supplier price analysis and taking decision for best price

- Complete maintenance of procurement, price and supplier database for JW commodity

- Central coordinator for maintaining and reporting of key suppliers.

Qualifications and Experience:

- B.Tech in mechanical engineering with 7-10 yrs of core working experience of Strategic Sourcing(Subcontracting ) with manufacturing process knowledge.

- Hands on experience in multi-unit environment and experience in corporate role.

- Good communication skill, convincing skill and influencing skill.

- Excellent analytical skill.

- Must have worked in manufacturing industry not less than 7 Yrs

- Should have knowledge on quality standards and QMS/ISO procedures.

Salary: INR 10,00,000 - 15,00,000 P.A.
