A. Position Purpose

The purpose of this position is to lead the Professional Services Category for the Bank under the Strategic Sourcing & Vendor management unit. The candidate would perform the sourcing activities of the unit in terms of negotiation, RFP floatation, governance, policy adherence on sourcing, market intelligence & benchmarking, internal stakeholder management and focusing on saves for the bank without compromising on quality. The position would require front ending of internal & external stakeholders and having the right skillsets for negotiation & project closure.

The position is critical in terms of demonstrating controls, saves methodologies and core negotiations to get the best deal for the Bank.

Position Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities (Please mention all the responsibilities expected from the incumbent to perform)

- Negotiation with suppliers

- RFP floatation including preparation of the same to include important terms and conditions, SLA's & conducting reverse auctions

- To derive best possible saves and publish the same

- Policies adherence by Business and reporting exceptions.

- To effectively manage the service & annual maintenance contracts.

- Managing the supplier relationship and spend for the category which includes SLA monitoring in terms of service level & quality

- Finalisation of contracts in terms of closure and liaising with Legal for issues if any.

- Well versed with managing professional services spend and understanding the closure aspect in the required timelines.

- Proficiency in advising the Head- Procurement & the COO management on any efficiencies in terms of saves, services or quality improvement where required.

A. Qualifications and Experience Requirement

Qualifications

Essential graduation with min 55% percentage

Graduate. Post- graduation in Management qualification would be an added advantage though not mandatory.

- Experience Essential

- 9-10 years within the Procurement function of any BFSI sector.
