Structural Design Engineer - Civil (4-10 yrs)
Project Execution :
- Study the Structural & architectural drawings of assigned projects with the respective DBR to have an understanding of the GA layouts & the project in total
- Prepare various loading diagrams and loading sheets, either to assist the design team or his assigned project.
- Modelling of structures for the assigned project with the help of softwares as per his seniors instruction/DBR.
- To get the design coutersigned by his/her Seniors.
- To comply with implementation of Document controller(Design) for the assigned project or as instructed by the Seniors.
- To Co-ordinate with various agencies as and when instructed by the Team Leader.
- To complete the work in the stipulated time frame & if any extension required, it has to be discussed or brought to Team Leader's notice before starting the work.
- To do site visit meetings of the project which he has dealt along with the company engineer.
- To Coordinate with various agencies as and when instructed by the team leader.
- To prepare design document of the work he has dealt with and get it countersigned with his senior.
Optimization of Design :
- Optimization of Design, Detailing and drawing checking off structural elements using office spreadsheets.
- Slab ( Conventional one way,two way,Cantilever)
- Beam & columns
- Foundation/raft/pile/pile cap.
- Retaining wall.
- Lift Machine Room/Over Head Tank/Sewage Treatment Plant/Under Ground Tank & under ground structures.
- Steel Beam, deck slab, column& base plate anchor bolt design
- Truss, Plate girder, Truss girder design
Compliance :
- To Comply QA/QC submission and response under the guidance of Team Leader/Project Leader.
Documentation :
- Appropriate Filing & documentation of the assigned work/project which is in line with the expected QA/QC process.
Client Management : Under the instructions & guidance of the Team Leader/Project Leader.
- Handling Client's calls and emails professionally and tactfully.
- Maintain the highest standard on Work related Ethics without misusing the Company's Goodwill.
Team Responsibilities :
- Being aware of the team targets.
- To Coordinate with all the juniors and implement the entire design process.
- To assist the Team Leader/Project Leader to check the loading sheets/Analysis/Design/Detailing of Juniors
- To train Juniors as per Company Rules.
Technical Skills :
- Working knowledge of any 2 out of Etabs, StadPro, Saffe .
- Design and Analytical Skills.
