Scope & Function

- Definition and specification of interfaces between process-related equipment and construction works;

- Layout arrangement;

- Specification of the scope of supply & services for structural steel (in proposal stage);

- Pre-engineering / Pre-statics and estimation of quantities;

- Cost estimation of structural steel for integrated plants;

- Consulting and execution of all aspects of structural work;

- Preparation of inquiry documents for suppliers/ subcontractors;

- Evaluation of offers of suppliers/ subcontractors;

- Selection and coordination of suppliers/ subcontractors;

- Technical negotiations with customers, suppliers and partners;

- Execution of the internal and external Project Management;

- Review and comment Customer's technical specification and prepare deviation lists and/ or proposal specification

Competencies required

- Graduated civil engineer specialized in structural engineering or comparable education;

- Longtime work experience in industrial plant construction; site experience is an advantage

- Computer literacy in the 3D CAD system TEKLA or comparable programs;

- Computer skills in the structural steel calculation program Dlubal RStab or comparable programs;

- Communication and negotiation skills;Assertiveness;

- Resilience and flexibility;

- Advance knowledge of MS Office programs;

- Willingness to travel within India and internationally;

- Fluent both in written and spoken English;

- Teamwork ability; Good communication skills
