- Design structural components for large or small- scale project requirements to ensure specifications meet project goals

- Review blueprints, plans, and change orders to verify the structural integrity of materials and designs, perform complex calculations, and use modeling methods to ensure correct results

- Create and present structural overviews for upcoming projects and develop reports that include technical details for engineers as well as big- picture analysis and cost estimates for project managers and senior executives

- Use AutoCAD and other drafting software programs to create 2D design documents and 3D models for individual components and overall structural plans according to client needs and project requirements for deliverables

- Ensure designs comply with local, national, and international building codes and regulations.

- Prepare documentation for private and government clients covering project plans and progress, change orders, ownership transfers, and other relevant information

- Create structural models by using computer- aided design software

- Measure loads and pressures caused by environmental or human influence

- Ensure all design work aligns with relevant codes, standards, and zoning regulations.

- Interface with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary approvals and permits.

- Monitor on- site construction processes and supervise construction wor.kers

- Follow construction safety guidelines

- Track and report on project progress

- Collaborate with contractors and project managers

- Attend meetings with clients to understand the requirement

- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS), AutoCAD, and BIM tools (e.g., Revit).
