Your responsibilities:
- Perform and develop finite element model and methodology to analyze problems in structural domain for linear and non-linear problems, thermal and thermo-fluids domain.
- Execute Static and dynamic analysis of mechanical system using FEA packages.
- Design support for product design optimization and/or design improvement.
- Validate analysis results through hand calculation / classical engineering method and lab test correlation
- Defines in pre-Engineering phase, the necessary structural calculations to be performed during project execution. Prepare the 3D model for simulations and executes it efficiently.
- Supports in establishing Certification & Validation Plans
- Participates in relevant Design / Verification reviews and propose design solution based from simulation
Skills you will need:
Must have:
- ME/ M Tech Degree in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering.
- Good understanding of classical stress analysis and FEA
- 4+ Years of experience in Aerospace/Automotive Industry
- Experience working in Product Design or R&D in Aerospace/Automotive
- Good understanding and experience of fatigue evaluation (LCF, HCF)
Should have:
- FEA experience using Ansys Workbench, Abaqus CAE, Hypermesh and/or MSC Nastran/ Patran or any other commercial tools
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
- Committed to deliver the results in time bound environment with quality.
- Strong interpersonal skills, and apt for learning new skills.
Nice to have:
- Application of AI/ML methods to FEA using Python.
- Use of open source FEA tools
