Supply Chain Executive - Demand Planning (4-9 yrs)
- Our client is a leading FMCG Distribution conglomerate situated in the Sultanate of Oman with business interests in Kuwait and the UAE, in addition to the business in the Sultanate. The Organization has ambitious plans for upstream and geographical growth, generating a multimillion turnover with approximately 3,000 employees with many leading international brands within its portfolio.
- We have been retained to assist them with the sourcing of a Supply Chain Executive- position based in Muscat. This role serves as the primary point of contact between the logistics, sales and finance departments for all matters relating to the receipt of all stocks for the division. The position reports to the Business Head.
Key Accountabilities of the role are to :
- Follow up with sales team for forecasts.
- Order placement based on forecast and historical data to be prepared and sent to business partners based on lead times.
- Maintain optimum stock levels in line with budget at all times to service customer requirements.
- Follow up with principals to ensure availability of all documents for customs clearance
- Plan & provide information of the goods arrival schedule to a warehouse in a timely manner
- Liaison with Clearing Agency to ensure prompt clearance of all containers arriving at a port
- Liaison with Transporters to ensure prompt arrival of all consignments by road
- Liaison with Logistics to prioritize receipt of containers to a warehouse
- Submit documents and consignment costs to Stream finance for prompt costing
- Liaison with Logistics to ensure that GRN is promptly prepared and liaise with finance to post the GRN on a priority basis
- Online application for permits for all consignments
- Liaison with Operations for import permits
- Complete any other assignments or responsibilities as defined by management on the daily or continuous basis KPI
- Stock holding days in line with budget
- Maintain health and freshness of stocks
- Reporting to business partners as per agreed timelines
- Internal monthly KPI reporting
The ideal candidate should have minimum 5+ years of experience.
He should have :
- Knowledge of the Supply chain principles
- Knowledge of working in the FMCG or Consumer Good business
- Advance knowledge in Excel
- Work knowledge in Oracle/SAP environment
- Good communication skills & presentation skills
