Supply Chain Specialist - Procurement/Logistics (5-8 yrs)
We are looking for Supply Chain - Specialist/Sr. Specialist who can engage with the Supply Chain leadership of our client firms to design and develop Analytics-led-Solutions for them.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Engage with Supply Chain Leadership of company's clients to define the need for Analytics led solutions
- Possess in-depth understanding of Supply chain : Strategy and Execution
- Possess a wide exposure to functions across the chain : Procurement/Inbound Logistics/Production/Outbound Logistics / Retailing
- Engage with Supply Chain operational teams at client's end to create process maps and identify gaps
- Experience with Business Process Reconfiguration is a must-have
- Experience of creating analytics-based solutions is preferable
- Design and Enhance algorithmic solutions to address the business need
- Have a solution creation mindset
- Engage with technology teams from Clients to create last mile connectivity of the solutions : Create tools and applications that provide self-service capacity to the clients
- Experience of working with technology teams is mandatory
- A working knowledge of SCM product portfolios is ideal. e.g. SAP, Oracle, JDA, Llamasoft
- Own project delivery by ensuring content rigor and client partnership
- Create marketing assets that showcase capabilities in Supply Chain Analytics
- Demonstrated ability in thought leadership - Articles/White Papers/Interviews
Eligibility Criteria :
- Bachelor's in engineering
- Masters from a Tier-1 B-school (Preferable)
- At least 3-5 years of Supply Chain experience with either consulting or operational expertise in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Production Planning, Production scheduling, Inventory Management etc.
- Should be a good problem solver
- Knowledge of O.R. techniques is a must-have
- Knowledge of Statistical techniques is good to have
