The Manager - Sustainability will be responsible for supporting the group companies for improving the energy efficiency, conducting energy audits in the plants, green building projects, Design/Drawing & Validation of electrical and mechanical systems and handling of all MEP related work in projects.

Role & responsibilities

1). Design, Drawing, Validation, Improvisation of Electrical/Energy/Mechanical Systems especially HVAC, Chillers, Compressors, etc.

2). Assist the Corporate Infrastructure team in managing M&E scope of the project to ensure the quality and deliverables within the stipulated time.

3). Conduct Energy audits in the Group company plants and support companies towards making their system more energy efficient.

4). Facilitate knowledge sharing and learning amongst stakeholders through workshops, seminars, and focused training programs.

5). Provide inputs on transfer and diffusion of energy efficient and environmentally sound technologies.

6). On-call resource for stakeholders to direct questions around implementation of energy related initiatives for sustainability and environmental obligations, and instrumental in leading the local team in the committed deliverables.

7). Support companies towards achieving their Sustainability related goals.

Preferred candidate profile

A). Bachelors/ Masters degree in an engineering (electrical or mechanical) or sustainability, or equivalent. Candidates who are certified Energy Auditors/Managers will be given preference.

B). Strong knowledge of Building operating systems, energy efficiency, low carbon technologies and decarbonization techniques.

C). Should have 7 to 10 years of experience in related field.

D). Think outside of the box to find creative and innovative solutions to reduce carbon and energy consumption with minimum impact on cost, quality, reliability, or maintainability.

E). Experience with design and specification of renewable energy projects.

F). Experience with Green Building projects like LEED, IGBC, GRIHA or similar.
