Suzlon - Electrical Modeling & Simulation Expert (5-8 yrs)
Key Responsibility :
1. Project Management related to wind farm grid compliance :
- Project planning and execution, grid code compliance of wind farms, to bring clarity on unclear grid code clauses from SBUs, Electric Utilities and customer, To lead wind farm/WTG upgradation projects related to grid code compliance, To support in identification and contracting of consultant/certification agencies/electrical contractors,
- Expected Outcome : to obtain timely grid code compliance of wind farms, delivering business benefit
- Performance Measures : Ontime completion, within budget and in full project delivery.
2. Model development and validation :
- To prepare turbine and windfarm model validation plan, perform simulation to check compliance, review simulation reports,
- Expected Outcome : Model complies with grid code and models are stable
- Performance Measures : Ontime completion with defined quality
3. Grid code scouting :
- To study grid codes from strategic countries and continously update the worst case scenerios, forecast future grid code requirements
- Expected Outcome : In time grid code requirements for NPD and new projects
- Performance Measures : Quality of reports
Prior exposure and familiarity : (Input while shortlisting and assessment)
- Min. 5-8 yrs of experience in renewable park testing at grid level/HV substation design & testing/project management/medium to high voltage engineering
Major Challenges : Scope and budget Mgmt, To bring timely clarity from Utilities on grid codes, co-ordination in international projects due to distance and language
Knowledge, Skills and Experience : M.Tech & B.Tech Electrical Engineering
Type of Institute : Tier 1/Tier 2
Soft Skills : Strong communications, Analytical thinking, Attention to details, problem
Special Certification Course : PMP (preferred)
