Suzlon - Purchase Manager (8-12 yrs)
Requirements :
- Accurate Planning Process - Site wise and Area wise consumption analysis, & scheduling of spares.
- Supply Security - Contract with suppliers for assured supplies, VD, Multiple suppliers.
- Forecast & projection of Consumption - Scrutiny of past failures and consumption, NY projections.
- CoGs Reduction - VD, Re-negotiations, Alt Materials.
- Vendor Management - Maintain terms of payment in line with Market expectation; Vendor Agreement, Supply flexibility.
- Timely PO Release. - Prompt actions on PRs, LC application and documentation.
- Preparation of CoGs Budget - Budget CoGs for each part & supplier. Competent negotiations.
- Meet OMS part needs - Alignment in failure and availability.
- Optimised supply distribution &movement - % Availability of Components / spares.
- In time availability of spares - Zero shortage, no surprises.
- Lower Material costs, Improved Profitability - Meet % Reduction target.
- Smooth & obstacle free Purchasing Management- Zero Shortage & adequate stocks + CoGs Reduction.
- Timely Material receipt - Plant / Turbine Availability.
- % Adherence - Spend within Budget.
Prior exposure and familiarity :
1. Adequate experience and exposure to Wind Industry.
2. Must be sensitive to O&M environment. (O&M - Operations & Maintenance).
3. Must be fully knowledgeable and familiar with WTG Vendors & components
