Key Responsibilities of the Role :

1. Ensure adherence & support for implementation of Quality Control Process activities (like QAP, QCP -QCPIR, Check lists), across all sites :

- Preventive maintenance processes, Torquing schedules, Lubrication schedules & periodic maintenance activities

- Ensure availability of latest documents & maintenance of quality records

- Measuring instruments & equipments calibration (including tools, jigs & fixtures, lifting devices, PPE - safety belts, helmets, shoes, etc)

2. Maintain Machine performance/availability

- Support OMS in achieving Machine availability & improvement of MTBF & MTTR targets

- Carry out Wind farms & sub-station audits as per guidelines and procedures

- Support IDRV audit teams/ OMS teams in rectification carry out validation of critical/major audit observations for smooth working of turbines

- Carry out Technical audits of all WTGs and full find farm (in line with IDRV check list) at their respective sites with technical support engineer & report findings for corrections

- Ensure TCIs implementations as per plan

- Quality & safety alerts are issued/tracked

3. Routine inspection/testing :

- Carry out receiving material inspections with respect to QM requirements, as per inspection type, serialized profile, master inspection characteristic, inspection plan etc & verify test certificates/validate the same.

- Support HOTO process for smooth handing over & ensure completion of all HOTO points

- Carry out routine Inspection of the WTGs by walk through audits

- Support site management in implementing proposed TCIs, Quality/safety alerts

- Support, resolve/verify/validate NCRs for technical closure

- Support non-conformity management team in providing necessary material data for warranty/FOC claims and also support in carrying out retrofit/modification activities by supplier/technical groups

- Monitoring of FIFO practices, Storage & Handling methods of stock items

4. Miscellaneous :

- Participate periodic OMS review meetings & record minutes. In subsequent meetings the previous MOM points are reviewed & status updated. (Meeting shall include, points like, field failures, customer complaints, Best practices/ appreciations, Audit observations, Non-conformities, warranty issues, PM schedules, Quality/safety alerts, mock drills, Etc)

- Site wise MIS reporting shall be done to regional/country quality managers periodically & alert in case of any critical/ major issues for timely intervention
