Key Result Areas (Job Responsibilities) : 

1) Tendering Stage (Bid Stage) 

- Preliminary technical design function.

- Prepared technical bid only if the proposal/bid is qualified to be quoted.

- Prepare a priced bid only if the technical bid is accepted by the customer.

- Prepare the technical proposal with proper interaction with Field Sales Executive & the customer technical persons.

- Ensure that the offer is in technical compliance with the specifications by selecting the best suited product for the application.

- Ensure that the deviations are identified & flagged, by preparing point wise compliance.

- Ensure that the risks are identified, flagged & mitigated.

- Ensure that the offer/ Bid is commercially competitive.

- Submit the proposal with latest standard/approved T&C only

- Go for technical discussions jointly or independently

- Be a complete backup for the front end sales in all meetings

- Be a part of commercial discussions & finalisation with customer

- While doing the costing, ensure that the backup quotes is available.

- Regular follow up with customer/sales to ensure that the order is technically & commercially closed properly

2) Process Oriented Organisation -Standard operating Procedures

- Works on approved SoPs

- Work on standardizing the processes to improve the delivery time with consistent delivery quality.

- Ensure minimum rework

- Ensure that the proposal are delivered in a timely manner as per defined Turn around time (TAT)

3) Post - Order Stage

- Prepare & send the order acceptance

- Prepare & ensure that handover is smoothly done with complete documentation as per SoP.

- Be the coordinator with accounts department for the order booking as per SoP.

- Be part of kick off meeting along with Project team

- Assist the Project manager in preparing the purchase checklist & comparative statements is required.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI) : 

- No of bids/ proposals prepared in given period

- No of rework in a given period

- Proposal Turnaround Time 

- Deliver the bids as per defined turnaround time.

- Order Win ration in the bids prepared
