Tata Advanced Systems - Electrical System Lead - Aircraft Design (11-19 yrs)
Job Context/Purpose
The Electrical Systems Engineer is responsible for translating high level technical requirements into electrical system architecture, preparation & finalization of electrical schematics, carrying out electrical load analysis for meeting the requirements, wire harness design & routing, harness drawing creation and technical documentation required for certification. The role is also responsible for selection of electrical components as part of the system design & system architecture.
Description of Responsibility :
- Must be conversant with aerospace terminologies
- Should have good knowledge and experience with aircraft electrical systems and sub-systems and its performance.
- Should have good knowledge and exposure to system design and development processes.
- Should be able to generate electrical system architecture from the top level requirements and carry out the electrical load analysis meeting the requirements
- Should be able to perform performance analysis for the aircraft electrical systems.
- Should have experience in creating electrical schematics, wire harness design and creation of harness drawings
- Should have experience in selecting electrical components as part of the design part of the electrical system architecture.
- Should have experience/ knowledge of aerospace standards like FAR/ JAAR/ CAR/ MIL standards, SAE ARP 4754A/SAE ARP 4761, other UAV related standards, AS 9100 REV D standards
- Should have experience in creating design and analysis technical documentation.
- Should have hands-on experience on industry specific tools like AUTOCAD Inventor, CATIA Electrical module, ECAD etc.
Should be able to manage the electrical design team and interact with all necessary stakeholders for project completion.
