Team Lead - BIM (4-12 yrs)
Duties :
- Set the work quality standards and make clear to the Team what performance looks like.
- Lead the Team and be at the forefront by example.
- Prepare BIM execution plans and project specific training documentation
- Coordinate and manage BIM project data sets/workflow and project set up.
- Ensure that projects run to the schedule and budget.
- Accurately estimate, self and team workload for each project and communicate to the technical manager.
- Precisely and Proactively raise Effort estimation discrepancies, RFIs, EOTs to the technical manager.
- Daily model management administration and maintenance.
- Supervise and know in good detail what is always going on with each job.
- Ensure that all production activities are carried out in full compliance with best practices and internal/external procedures and policies.
- Continuously explore new technologies and improve working methodologies.
- Communicate effectively and offer cross-team support.
- Hold weekly project review meeting with the manager
- Ensure the Team is following the ISO 9001:2015 standards
Associated tasks :
- Hands-on supervision of all Teams activities, including technical issues and job coordination.
- Ensure that all best practices and technical/management/administrative procedures are strictly followed by all Team members.
- Assign the Team members to tasks compatible with their skills and make sure that projects are correctly initiated before the production work starts.
- Prioritize works and allocate resources efficiently in situations of constraint.
- Monitor job's progress with the team members and initiate timely the necessary actions to meet the week schedule.
- Ensure that all projects have been broken down into individual tasks and recorded in the Project Management and Monitoring System (PMMS), that all work hours are allocated daily, that project's progress is assessed daily.
- Liaise with Managers regarding escalated project issues.
- Mentor the Team members and guide them to do the right work rightly.
- Help improve performance when required,provide honest and useful feedback when quality and performance drop and actively build cohesion amongst the Team.
- Ensure that all required hardware and software tools required to perform maintenance operations efficiently are available.
- Anticipate the impact of delays due to the absence of Team members on the workflow.
- Facilitate the induction of new team members in collaboration.
- Approve/review Team members' timesheets.
- Participate actively in the continuous improvement program aimed to reduce the root causes of quality issues and delivery delays.
- Ensure compliance of the Eurosia's policies, particularly on ethics, safety and adherence to Company ISO Standards.
- Develop and maintain Eurosia family database, templates and charter.
