Team Lead - Engineering (8-12 yrs)
Job Description: -
1. Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of AutoCAD designers.
- Provide training and development opportunities to team members.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
2. Project Management:
- Coordinate with project managers and other departments to ensure project timelines are met.
- Manage and prioritize the workload of the AutoCAD team to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to keep projects on track.
3. Design Oversight:
- Oversee the preparation of detailed design & reading engineering drawing.
- Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards, company policies, and client requirements.
- Review and approve design work to ensure accuracy and quality.
4. Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve design processes and workflows.
- Implement best practices in CAD design and project management.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD tools and technologies and integrate them into the team's work.
5. Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all design work complies with relevant regulations and standards.
- Maintain organized records of all design documents and revisions.
- Prepare reports on project progress, team performance, and design quality.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or diploma in Mechanical, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 8-9 years of experience in the tradeshow or exhibition or retail display industry with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proven experience in managing multiple design projects simultaneously.
International Exposure is a must.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in CAD design software.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering, Wood & Metal fabrication with an international exposure.
- Modular joinery fixtures knowledge is must.
- Knowledge of project management tools and software is preferred.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Able to work in work pressure.
