We are looking for Technical Manager position for one of our client, a global leader in nutrient foods and confectionery.

This will be a unique opportunity for seasoned Mechanical/electrical engineers heading Reliability/ Utilities in reputed FMCG companies since this role includes two additional aspects beyond reliability i.e. small and minor projects as well as owning the sustainability initiatives for the Site.

Role Summary:

The position is directly responsible for the selection, purchase, installation, commissioning, Maintenance and ultimate retirement, of Hyd Plant capital assets, to optimize profit, FATR and ROTA. Manage the Site SIG Strategy by collaborating with the Regional SIG Lead to develop annual site goals/projects as primary point of contact. As custodian of the Site Utility Operations, is responsible for monitoring, reporting and statutory compliance of Utilities function. He/She shall be directly responsible for team comprising of Managers and Associates.

Target candidates:

- Mechanical / Electrical BE / B. Tech candidates with 8- 15 Yrs of total work experience in FMCG (Foods sector preferred) in maintenance and reliability, engineering or operations management in a large manufacturing environment

- Candidates from NITs will be preferred

- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance programs

- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge and aptitude and has required knowledge of energy & utilities, efficiency improvements & passion for sustainability initiatives

- Strong line management capability and leadership experience. Should have been line manager for a significant amount for time as the structure under him will be such that the incumbent will be manager of managers
