Job Profile:

The Technical Lead would be responsible for execution of all engineering activities for the projects assigned to him/her within the agreed schedule & budget, quality as per customer expectation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Works with a team of engineers to execute the BMS projects independently - Control System Design, Software Programming, and Graphics.

- Should act as technical interface to customers and is responsible to ensure that projects are executed within agreed schedule and budget to meet the customer requirements.

- Preparation and participation for kick-off meeting or project review meetings with technical queries and scope clarification and sending out notes/reports.

- Identify potential issues, technical risks involved in projects and planning mitigation actions

- Ensure defects are monitored and take Corrective Action/Preventive Action to meet quality standards

- Monitors and controls assigned work scope against the project plan, ensures effective change control and identifies risks / opportunities.

- Identify possible improvement opportunities in processes and standards

- Ensure common methods, techniques, tools and products as agreed by the knowledge communities

- Ensures that the deliverable of Engineers are reviewed with respect to project standards and quality documents

- Ensures that the final deliverable meets the functional specifications of the end user

- Build rapport with team ensuring smooth execution of projects.

- Ensure quality & specs compliances of deliverables for projects.

- Ensure end to end project close out (commissioning support either physically on field or over phone)

Job Requirements:

Experience: 6-10 years Experience in one/more of the following industries: HVAC, BMS Service, Energy. 4 years- experience in design. On field experience would be added advantage.

Qualifications: BE (Instrumentation / Electronics / Electronics & Communication, Mechanical)

Professional Skills / Knowledge required:

- In-depth knowledge & experience on design engineering, product selection, Valves/damper selection/sizing, Panel Wiring and design, software programming and graphics for BMS Projects.

- Understanding technicalities of the projects and meeting the deadlines

- Ability to work on multiple product platforms and do multi-tasking.

- Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity.

- Must have good communication skills to work with a global team that is geographically dispersed

- Should be self-motivated and willing to work with team members at various levels.

- Experience and flexibility to manage multiple tasks.

- Manage risks by identifying and mitigating them with right level of escalation and communication on a regular basis

- Work and coordinate with the teams / colleagues to deliver projects, share information, provide assistance on projects and problems solving
