Main responsibilities :

- Technical / Quality assurance / Quality control / R&D /Compound development

- Vendor development / Product development / Product testing

- To improve the productivity, quality and consistency of the mixing and extrusion areas.

- To assist in development of new compounds as required for cost reductions or new projects.

- To meet the plan of the development Projects and Customer requirements with regards to quality and productivity targets enclosed in Quality Of Service

- Ensure Information and costing details are provided in a timely manner internally and to the final customer.

- Out of the mixing Area & the Quality of Mixing compound.

- To maintain and track all APQP timing plans for your respective customers or Projects for new compound requirements.

- Visit the customer regularly for development reviews, product trials and launch issues.

- To lead internal Product Feasibility Review Meetings and APQP CFT's as per customer Requirements and project timelines for new compound development.

- To inculcate a Quality Culture in the Organization, to Achieve - A- grade in ALL Customer Quality Audits.

- To Meet Quality targets enclosed in QOS - QCDISME- .

- To actively contribute to Departmental CFT's for reduction of internal rejection and customer complaint analysis and Internal PPM reviews.

- Should always be available any emergencies at any time.

- To maintain high level of discipline, 5S & safety in your area.

Required candidate :

1. 7 - 15 Years (Minimum 6 years exp in Automotive or Auto Component or Rubber Manufacturing Company)

2. Full understanding of APQP/ PPAP

3. Ability to lead, motivate & manage staff

4. Ability to communicate and present effectively

5. Ability to work in a structured and controlled manner under pressure

6. Self starter and self managed

7. Exposure to product development with customers like Ford, M&M or any other multinational OEM.

8. Able to use Microsoft Project for program Development

Qualification : Educated to Degree level or equivalent in Engineering / Technical or Business discipline
