JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

- To deliver and the assessment of competencies across a broad range of programs from entry level to post trade

- Maintaining up to date knowledge of the automotive industry and contemporary teaching methods for a variety of learners

- Continuously improving the iACE's reputation for excellence in teaching, learning and service delivery education solutions

- Work closely with industry members to deliver quality products within optimal timeframes that reflect the learning needs of the Automotive industry

- Undertake 720 hrs of normal teaching duties.

- To deliver and assess the theory and practical requirements of the automotive training packages and customised industry programs within automotive

- Planning and researching up-to-date quality courses and learning materials, and in the identification and setting of standards/assessments to meet a diverse student population;

- To participate in the Department's continuing review of course content, teaching methods and methods of student assessment within Automotive.

- To keep up to date with technological developments in the automotive industry in general, and the areas of expertise in particular within automotive;

- To liaise with industry representatives and employers to maintain the high quality and relevance of the programs delivered by the Department;

- To review and self-evaluate teaching performance to ensure a level of performance is maintained which provides optimal student learning and learning opportunities;

- To co-ordinate the delivery, assessments the theory and practical requirements of the automotive training packages and customised industry programs within automotive;

- Assist the Team Leader in planning quality courses and learning materials, and in the identification and setting of standards/assessments to meet a diverse student population;

- Assist the Team Leader in preparing and publishing reports required by the training clients.
