We are looking for a Tool Room Head for our client based in Ghaziabad.

- A 35 years old company, it is now one of the oldest and best tool rooms in India, manufacturing over 150 moulds a year and processing over 2000 tons of plastics.

- The tool room is fully air-conditioned with the latest CNC machines and operates 24 hours to produce moulds. European standard moulds are manufactured in the fastest lead times. They have two injection moulding units, one in Sahibabad (U.P.) and one in Baddi (H.P.-a tax free zone). With a total of 40 injection moulding machines from Demag & Haitian, millions of plastic parts are produced every month for the packaging, cosmetic, engineering & the medical industry.

- Since they design, manufacture and use their moulds for production as well, they are a one stop solution for their clients.

Job Overview:

- We are looking for a highly skilled mold and dies development leader who will ensure on time development of tools and dies. 

- The incumbent shall ensure that the components and molds/dies meet highest standards of quality with respect to specifications and ensure trouble free handover to the manufacturing/client. Incumbent shall be responsible to ensure that the concerns of stakeholders are managed in time till commercial production is streamlined. He should be a team player demonstrating the highest standards of ethics.

Title: Tool Room Head

Location: Ghaziabad

- Experience: Candidate with minimum 20 years experience as Tool Room Head in plastic or polymer mould related work

- Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization, Diploma in Mechanical

Preferred candidate profile:

- Hand on experience in Understanding Mold design, mold maintenance, mold troubleshooting.

- Hands on experience in handling and Managing Molds, press tools and molding related equipment

- Hands on experience in manufacturing of plastics and sheet metal for appliances, Auto and electrical or similar industries.

- Capable of reading mold mechanical drawings.

- Strong Communication, Stakeholder Management and interpersonal skills.

- Analytical, problem solving and Project Management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Machine Evaluation and Prepare, develop and implement complete processes & systems.

- Leading Tool room for In-House and supplier related requirements.

- Maintenance Management

- Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Implementation - Planning maintenance schedules to keep machines in good operating condition

- Ensure that the quality of the product is same/better batch on batch

- Lead a team with technical expertise, open culture and people centric approach.

- Self-driven & initiative, Excellent Communication Skills.

- Working closely with the all department and PPC to ensure timely availability of molds and maintain plant tooling inventories at their optimal.

- Root cause analysis and Preventive actions on non-conforming products, manufacturing methods and processes.

- Process Planning, Dies, tools, Spares Budgeting & Knowledge on Process

- Project Management for new products.
