Tractors India - Technical Trainer - Service Engineer - Engine (5-10 yrs)
- Implements proactive technical training policies developed to address strategic business objectives.
- Designs and develops technical training courses and their compilation into an annual technical training plan
- Assists Incharge technical training in finalisation of recommendations on new initiatives/changes in technical training processes and systems from time to time
- Collects benchmark data on progressive technical training systems and policies in other organisations and uses them to enhance the technical training systems and processes.
- Assesses skills on the job to ensure the knowledge imparted from previous trainings are being incorporated.
Technical training Needs Identification (TNI)
- Conducts periodic exercises to compile technical training needs for all levels and functions in the organisation based on approved methodologies
- Assists in identifying technical training needs by discussing employees- technical training needs with their supervisor and manager including qualification, knowledge, experience and the job descriptions to design various courses to upgrade levels of Company employees- performance
Curriculum and Infrastructural development
- Develops curriculum based on the skill gap analysis
- Assists Training Incharge in establishing infrastructural requirement to fulfil training needs
- Continuously updates training material
- Contacts external technical training providers/ institutes for specific technical training needs and development of technical training curriculum
- Develops material to meet customised training needs
Technical training calendar preparation
- Prepares the technical training calendar based on approved budget and technical training delivery dates
- Aligns Principals Training Calendar with Capability Development Program
Technical training Delivery
- Establishes process on pre-work and lesson plan before deliver of training
- Imparts technical training as per Capability Development Program
- Identifies and bridges weakness of participants through quality training
- Uses proper training aides and conducts - on the iron- training to maximize knowledge transfer.
Technical training Evaluation
- Prepares a suitable questionnaire and performs technical training assessment for learning effectiveness of technical training
- Ensures knowledge retention through retentivity test and on site evaluation
- Continuously interacts with the supervisors to obtain customer feedback on performance of the participant trained.
Self Development
- Ensures additional training capability through self development
- Ensures compliance with Principals- requirement as a Trainer
