Job Title : Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Location : Peenya, Bangalore

Job Overview :

- An experienced and dedicated Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Manufacturing engineers and project leaders to deliver projects with on-time delivery, high-quality, and reduced cost.

- The successful candidate has to be strong technically, with high organizational skills, good business understanding, and persuasive communication skills.

MEM Job Roles and Responsibilities :

- MEM should have hands on skills in Process planning, machine shop and Assembly.

- Responsible for Delivery, Quality and Cost of the Project

- Ability to understand complex Aerospace drawing and interpretation

- Ensures high quality delivery, on-time delivery and reduced cost by applying strong skills in manufacturing, inspection and trouble-shooting

- Involves strong understanding of, machining, special process, and other secondary processes

- Has ability to simplify complex drawing and put it down into simple process for the team to understand

- MEM should have knowledge in various standards like ASME/NADCAP / heat treatment specs /welding Sec. IX, for carbon steels, Stainless steels and exotic materials like (Titanium etc)

- Coordinating with Customer /Consultancy regarding technical issues in different Phases of projects undertaken.

- Follow-up with Internal and Customer/Client, design dept,QC dept. and Engg.dept for Submission and Approval of drawings/QAP/Billing schedules o After receipts of approved Data sheets.

- Implementation of ERP & MES Software in engineering team.

- Preparing Estimation and costing Project (Procurement / quotation and final costing)

- Updating of BOM and Billing schedule with part shipments Monitor milestones against project plan.

- Preparing and Monitoring FAIr execution plan in the shop floor as per KPI- s

- Organise Review meeting and updating of approval / manufacture clearance given for the Components of on-going projects.

- Manage project development from beginning to end

- Production costing (during Procurement / quotation and final costing) Significant

- Drafted and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary for the Projects.

- Operated Project unit in profit mode by .effectively communicate cost reduction as per budget Developed progress reports, Budget, requirements documentation.

- Needs to be an influential leader with systematic approach and have strong team management skills.

- Should have experience executing 100+ FAIr's with full ownership

- Should have worked in Aerospace manufacturing environment

- A leader who leads along with the team with clear organizational and customer focus

- Strong entrepreneurial skills and understands business and helps accelerate the growth to Help foster a high-performance team

- Have experience building teams from recruitment to employee engagement to create high degree of productive and motivated employees
